“It’s not real until you’re eating a breakfast burrito.”
That’s some wisdom from my former creative director. He wanted me to know that nothing matters until you’re up early, shooting, filming or making something consumers will actually see. No matter what obstacles you encounter, you have to push through until the idea becomes real.
In the wild new world of content, that lesson is more true than ever. I’ve spent 15 years at some of the biggest agencies in Chicago learning to roll with the punches, adapt to the situation and push forward until we create something that matters.
